Anticimex Group announces the acquisition of Sam Pest Management in Malaysia

This new acquisition is a solid addition to the 14 pest control companies that Anticimex Asia has acquired since entering the market in 2016; forming part the ongoing strategy to strengthen and expand the Anticimex footprint across the Asia market. Our focus remains on solid organic growth centered around our SMART digital pest solutions with a robust appetite for further acquisitive growth.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Samuel Koh, former owner of SAM Pest and now Senior Branch Manager Anticimex Melaka, said:
"It was a huge improvement for the Pest Control industry in Malaysia with Anticimex Smart Technology. It elevates Malaysia pest control to another level, reducing difficulties related to human professional defects."

Commenting on today’s announcement, YC Lim, former owner of SAM Pest and now Senior Branch Manager, Anticimex Seremban, said:
“There is always a space to improve when the integration of two companies commences. We have seen continuous growth in our teams through learning and improvement together, sharing the same frequency and unity of spirit.”

Commenting on today’s announcement, Marcus Voon, Managing Director Anticimex Malaysia, said:
“Sam Pest Management has been a professional and well-run business for over 10 years, offering pest control services to both the B2C and B2B market sectors. We are extremely pleased that founders, Samuel Koh and YC Lim, share the Anticimex vision and continue to lead the branches in Melaka and Seremban. This transaction will allow us to better serve these growing states of Melaka and Negeri Sembilan in between Central & Southern Peninsula Malaysia, strengthening Anticimex’s overall position in Malaysia.”

Commenting on today’s announcement, Tony Hurst, President Anticimex Asia, said:
“The transaction adds two more branches to our current Malaysia structure, a strategic merger creating efficiency through density and increasing our coverage to better serve our National Account customers. With four young & enterprising owners also joining Anticimex Malaysia, together with their loyal ten years of employees, this is certainly an acquisition of talent to our business. Sam Pest employees will gain from being involved with a global pest management organisation that offers market leading pest control services.”
